Return & Refund Policy

At OoConut, we are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality coconut products across India. Due to the nature of our offerings, we request all customers to carefully review and understand the terms outlined in this Return and Refund Policy prior to placing an order through our platform.

Returns
Given that our products fall under the category of perishable food items, we generally do not accept returns once an order has been successfully delivered to the customer. However, exceptions may be considered under specific circumstances where the product received does not meet acceptable standards.

Returns shall only be considered eligible in cases where the product has been damaged during transit or delivery, or where the customer has received an incorrect item that does not match the original order placed. In such instances, the customer is required to initiate a return or replacement request within a strict timeframe of 48 hours from the time of delivery.

To proceed with such a request, customers must contact our support team via email at support@ooconut.com, providing complete order details along with clear photographic evidence of the issue for verification purposes. Failure to provide adequate proof or to report within the specified timeframe may result in the request being declined.

It is important to note that any products returned without prior authorization or approval from our support team will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
Customers are strongly advised to inspect their orders at the time of delivery to ensure accuracy and product condition. In the event that a product is found to be damaged, defective, or incorrect, the issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Upon receiving the complaint and after conducting a thorough verification process based on the evidence provided, OoConut reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution. This may include either a replacement of the product or the issuance of a refund, depending on the nature and validity of the claim.

Non-Returnable Items
As a general policy, certain categories of products are not eligible for return under any circumstances. These include, but are not limited to, all perishable goods such as coconuts and other food products, any items that have been opened or used after delivery, and products that have been damaged due to improper storage, mishandling, or negligence on the part of the customer after receipt.

Additionally, items purchased during sales, discounts, or promotional offers are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

Exchanges
OoConut does not offer direct product exchanges. In cases where a customer is eligible for resolution due to a valid issue, the company will, at its sole discretion, provide either a replacement product or process a refund, as deemed appropriate.

Refunds
In the event that a return or complaint is approved following verification, refunds will be initiated to the original mode of payment used at the time of purchase within a standard processing period of 5 to 7 business days.

For orders placed using Cash on Delivery (COD), refunds will be processed through alternative methods such as bank transfer or UPI, based on the details provided by the customer. It should be noted that while OoConut will initiate the refund within the stated timeframe, the actual credit of funds may take additional time depending on the policies and processing timelines of the respective banks or financial institutions.
